Robin Bozik (“Creatur”)

Robin holds a BA in English from Clark University, with minors in Biology and Creative Writing.

They are the first-place winner of the 2020 Betty ’79 and Stanley Sultan Short Story Contest and the recipient of the 2024 Virginia Mason Vaughan Prize for Most Outstanding Honors Thesis. They also received third place in the 2023 Leroy Allston Ames Essay Contest.

Robin’s academic specialties include the body in literature, contemporary Gothic, and the queer uncanny. Their creative works often feature unabashed dissections of the queer body—both figuratively and literally—as well as transhumanist and otherworldly approaches to the question of self.

Robin is also a member of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society, and in 2025 had the great honor of receiving a scholarship to participate in a pilot summer program for alums and advisors at Girton College, University of Cambridge.

When they aren’t writing, Robin enjoys hiking and playing rhythm guitar in a thus far unnamed hard rock band.
